Windows Hosting Provider DiscountASP.NET adds Hostname Support to Snapp Systems

Windows hosting provider DiscountASP.NET has announced the addition of Hostname Support to Snapp Systems – a cloud hosting solution “built by .NET developers for .NET developers” and the only platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solution that provides configurable staging and a production environment for individual applications.

DiscountASP.NET is recognized as a key hosting solutions provider for Microsoft developers, offering both shared and managed Team Foundation Server hosting solutions. The company has attained Gold Hosting Competency and is a Visual Studio Partner member. The company’s addition of Hostname Support to Snapp Systems means that developers can now use their own domain names when developing within Snapp’s production environment, allowing them to test under “real world” conditions.

Snapp Systems is built on Windows Azure Pack which utilizes the same technology that drives Azure Web Sites. This means web hosts are able to run Azure Services on-premises and offer customers a range of cloud hosting solutions. The system provides a staging site accessible via FTP, WebDeploy, GIT and Team Foundation Server that can be used to test applications before they go live. Once tested, applications can be published without additional deployment.
