Web Host HostMySite Offers Light Up The Cloud Sweepstakes

Web host HostMySite is offering what it calls the “Light Up The Cloud Sweepstakes”. The sweepstakes is sponsored by Microsoft and targets startups and entrepreneurs, offering $10,000 worth of Windows Azure Pack-based Cloud OS cloud-hosting services as prizes. In addition, the 8-week sweepstakes will provide one lucky winner per week a Microsoft Surface 2.

The sweepstakes began July 1, 2014 and runs until August 26, 2014. To take part, businesses must submit a photo of their facilities with descriptions of their “business, project or application”. In addition, they need to provide an explanation of what they would do with $10,000-worth of prizes to enhance their businesses. Winners will be drawn on a weekly basis. All winners will be announced on HostMySite’s website and through its social media outlets.

Established in 1997 and with headquarters in Newark, Delaware, USA, HostMySite offers a range of services including VPS, cloud hosting, and dedicated server options. Its services can be white labeled and its entire service is underpinned by worldclass ongoing technical support and offered at a starting fee of under $20 for Windows Server 2012 including 1GB RAM and 2 TB Bandwidth.
