Virtual Datacenters Provider Bluelock Adds Cloud-based RaaS to Suite of Services
Virtual datacenters provider Bluelock has added cloud-based Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) offerings to its suite of services. The company, a certified VMware vCloud® datacenter provider, caters to mid-size and large companies offering public cloud hosted Bluelock Virtual Datacenters that facilitate a hybrid cloud approach to platform compatibility. Businesses recognize that a reliance on technology means decreased efficiency when downtime occurs. The 4-Series Virtual Datacenter, Bluelock's new Recovery-as-a-Service (RaaS) offering, enables organizations to quickly and efficiently retrieve critical IT resources when disaster strikes. The company now offers two different RaaS solutions powered by Zerto Virtual Replication - a solution for users who need to recover workloads hosted in their own facilities, and an “In-Cloud” solution for existing Bluelock cloud customers. Both solutions are 100% VMware compatible and neither require application re-working. "Achieving and optimizing the appropriate balance between IT disaster recovery capabilities, affordability and risk mitigation is central to Bluelock’s RaaS solutions," explained Bluelock's Chief Technology Officer, Pat O’Day. "Bluelock’s 4-Series Virtual Datacenters provide an affordable and effective product for both Bluelock customers and companies who want to recover into Bluelock’s proven enterprise-grade cloud environment at a compelling price point."
