Verizon’s 'More Everything' Plans Double Monthly Data and Offer Free Cloud Storage
American broadband and telecommunications company Verizon has introduced a new range of mobile plans which double customers’ monthly data allowance and provide 25GB of free cloud storage. Called 'More Everything', the plans also doubled the bandwidth available to customer accounts and provide ‘unlimited’ international messaging. Introduced in October 2013, Verizon’s cloud offerings are billed by the company as being “more powerful and reliable than ever before”. The company has also suggested that it is “pioneering the next evolution in cloud computing”. Verizon Cloud includes IaaS platform Verizon Cloud Compute, and object-based storage service Verizon Cloud Storage. Verizon’s increase in resources and free cloud storage comes amidst fierce competition between the United States’ cellular carriers. AT&T recently introduced a range of plans with reduced costs alongside $450 credit for customers who switch to their services from T-Mobile. T-Mobile also offers $350 in credits to people switching to its services. Do you know of any other carriers that are offering cloud services as a sweetener? Let us know the details.
