University of Nebraska-Lincoln Experts and Industry Leaders Share Cloud Computing Platform
Experts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and industry leaders will share a platform to offer advice on how to manage new cloud computing technology. The advice will be given as part of a broadband webinar to be held later this month. The webinar will be the second in a series of seminars entitled "Don't Know What I Don't Know" which are funded by a grant given to the Nebraska Public Service Commission by the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration. It will offer details on cloud information storage and how the cloud can benefit small businesses. The webinar will be offered live and there will be time given for the panel to address questions asked by the audience. One for the businesses featured in the webinar will be cloud service provider FileBound. Sean Nathaniel, the CIO of FileBound, will define the cloud and offer advice on how to find a cloud provider and how small businesses can leverage its benefits. Another business featured will be Bryson's Airboat Tours, with Tim Bryson on hand to discuss how the cloud improves efficiency.
