UK Cloud Services Company Skyscape Cloud Services Achieves ISO20000 for IT Service Management
 UK cloud services company Skyscape Cloud Services has achieved ISO20000 for IT service management. The award was made after an extensive audit carried out Lloyd's Register (LRQA). ISO20000 is an international standard that assesses an organization's ability to deliver services based on best IT Service Management practices. The standard allows Skyscape to achieve international recognition by providing "evidence-based" benchmarks for the delivery of its services. Skyscape focuses on helping the UK public sector "transform the provision of IT services into a lean, elastic, assured, green utility" through an on-demand cloud computing service. Its services include Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for the UK Government and public sector under the G-Cloud Framework - developed to offer government agencies pay-as-you-go services as a cheaper alternative to traditionally sourced ICT. “We’re thrilled to have been successful in obtaining ISO20000 certification and to be joining the elite group of companies who have previously been certified,” Skyscape Cloud Services, CTO, Mr. Simon Hansford. “At Skyscape, we firmly believe in the importance of offering an optimal IT strategy, encompassing effective service design, transition, operations and continual service improvement.
