The Data Centers of Colocation, Cloud Computing, and Managed Hosting Provider Expedient Listed in CRN Data Center Top 100

The data centers of cloud computing, collocation and managed hosting provider Expedient have been listed in CRN Data Center Top 100 – an annual list designed to “help solution providers navigate the vendor landscape”. The company was listed as one of the top 20 data center providers. This is the second time Expedient has been included in the list.

The CRN Data Center Top 100 lists vendors that provide solutions for data centers. It identifies top companies catering to the “data center provider” sector offering a range of support options including data backup tools, virtual data center solutions and cloud hosting services. Companies are listed in Infrastructure, Tools, Virtualization, Service Providers and Designers and Builders categories.

Expedient’s data centers offer managed services and network connectivity and cater to commercial, educational and government bodies. Its centers meet a number of compliance requirements including SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA and SOC.

Expedient currently has data centers facilities in the US cities of Boston, Baltimore, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh. Each data center is connected to the others in the network with a 10Gbps private fiber backbone. The company plans 4 more centers in Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh and Indianapolis.
