Telecommunications Company CenturyLink Joins Dell Cloud Partner Program
 Telecommunications company CenturyLink has joined the Dell Cloud Partner Program. The program allows Dell to act as a "single-source supplier" offering "centralized solution integration, control and direct support". CenturyLink joining the program enables Dell to provide customers with the company's enterprise public cloud offerings that offer IaaS, PaaS and cloud management through its data centers. All CenturyLink services are available through a web services API and in a "unified management interface" that automates a number of key CenturyLink Cloud features. The third largest telecommunications company in the United States, CenturyLink is a leader in the network services, cloud infrastructure and hosted IT solutions markets. With headquarters in Monroe, Louisiana, the company provides data, voice and managed services through an advanced fiber optic network and multiple data centers. The Dell Cloud Partner Program provides consulting and application services that enable members to assess, build, operate and run cloud environments regardless of whether they are new to the cloud or have a lot of experience in the area. With support from Dell on the best options to meet members' requirements, the program allows members to manage single or multiple public, private and hybrid clouds through its proprietary Dell Cloud Manager interface. “Companies want to take the complexity out of deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructures so they can focus on running their business,” explained CenturyLink’s Savvis organization vice president and general manager of cloud, Suku Krishnaraj. “Our partnership with Dell allows businesses to run the simplest workload to the most complex, demanding application on public cloud environments with ease and confidence to quickly and consistently achieve measurable business results.” Do you know of any other companies partnering on cloud solutions?
