Storage virtualization software provider StarWind Software has reached the finals of the Storage, Virtualization, and Cloud Computing (SVC) Awards 2013. The company's StarWind iSCSI SAN & NAS solution has advanced in the award's "Virtualization Management Product of the Year" and "Storage Virtualization Product of the Year" categories. The SVC Awards recognize companies that operate in the cloud, virtualization, and storage arenas and provide quality products and services. Award winners will be announced at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London, United Kingdom on November 21, 2013. Established in 2003 StarWind Software caters to a global customer base of 30,000 customers (including Fortune 100 companies) in around 100 countries. Its StarWind iSCSI SAN & NAS product addresses issues such as storage system costs, capacity, confidential data, and efficient scalability. It supports virtual environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, XenServer and Linux.
