Spanish Web Host acens Launches New Cloud Backup Service

Spanish web host acens has launched a new cloud backup service. The company, which is part of the Telefónica Group, is targeting SMBs and home users for its fully automated ‘Respaldo Cloud’ service, which leverages BackupAgent’s cloud backup software. The company's servers are located in Spain and all data will be stored there.

Established in 1997 acens has facilities in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao and caters to around 100,000 companies. The company's services range from website hosting to server and application “outsourcing” and public and private hybrid cloud solutions.

Available for Windows, Mac and Linux, BackupAgent’s cloud backup software allows acens to provide a cloud backup service that offers features which include MS Hyper-V advanced backup, Exchange Server, SQL Server and MySQL databases. The service also offers Microsoft Outlook backup, IE Favorites and Windows System State.
