Software Developer Novosoft to Launch New Version of Handy Backup and Additional Features on Black Friday
Alliance, Ohio-based software developer Novosoft LLC will launch version 7.3.1 of its Handy Backup software on Black Friday - the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States (this year falling on Friday, November 23).
The new version of the company’s home and business data protection software will offer secure data transfer, fast and stable operation, and include hot (or dynamic) backup (backing up data which is accessible to users and might be being used at the time of the backup), and cold (or offline) backup (backing up a database when it is offline and not accessible to users). It will also be integrated with Windows 8 and WebDAV cloud storage, meaning users can back up data to services such as Yandex.Disk, Box.com, CloudMe, JungleDisk, and any cloud service supporting the WebDAV protocol.
Alongside high speed data transfer and secure data transmission, the new version of Handy Backup also offers refined workstation installation and updated disk imaging alongside updated modules for MySQL backup and the backup of other types of databases.
