SADA Systems Partners with Douglas County Nebraska and the City of Omaha
Cloud computing solutions and IT strategies provider SADA Systems, Inc. has partnered with Douglas County, Nebraska and the City of Omaha. The partnership will see SADA Systems migrate the city and the county to Google's "Google Apps for Government" communication and collaboration solution. The partnership is based on the recommendation of the Douglas Omaha Technology Commission (DOTComm) and was approved by the Omaha City Council and Douglas County Board of Commissioners. Established in 2000, SADA Systems specializes in change management and business transformation strategies for the cloud. The company is a Google Apps Premier Enterprise Reseller, and has "extensive expertise migrating government agencies to Google Apps for Government". These agencies include the City of Monterey and Lyon County, Nevada. SADA and Google will collaborate to migrate both Douglas County, Nebraska and the City of Omaha to Google's cloud-based package and assist both agencies in the transition of employees from their existing email and calendar system. This will include employee training. "SADA is honored to be the Google Apps deployment partner for Douglas County and the City of Omaha," said Tony Safoian, President and CEO of SADA Systems. "We've seen Google Apps transform the workflows of multiple state and local governments, and are excited to see how the platform can help the City and County employees improve the processes used to service its citizens."
