Online File Storage and Sharing Company Hightail Acquires Cloud-managed Private Collaboration Solution Provider adeptCloud
In an environment where 77% of businesses suggest they are worried about the possibility of employees using non-secure cloud services, online file storage and sharing company Hightail has acquired cloud-managed private collaboration solution provider Adept Cloud, Inc. Previously known as "YouSendIt", Hightail purchased adeptCloud to strengthen its security, control and privacy capabilities, enabling the company to provide customers the highest level of security possible.
Established in 2004, Hightail was one of the original providers offering email with the capability of attaching large files. Its services are utilized by 43 million registered users in 193 countries. 98% of Fortune 500 companies use its solutions. Established in June 2011, Adept Cloud established the first cloud-managed private collaboration solution.
