Michael Southworth Becomes the CEO of Cloud-based Customer Care Solutions Provider Contact Solutions
Michael Southworth has become the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of cloud-based customer care solutions provider Contact Solutions. The company’s services include “effortless” voice and mobile customer care solutions that include self-service and agent-managed customer care options. Mr. Southworth takes the position of Contact Solutions’ CEO after working in another executive position at the company, Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A 20-year industry veteran, Mr. Southworth brings substantial operational, financial, and strategic planning knowhow to his new position. His responsibility will be to ensure the company’s customer service platforms continue to expand and gain new customers. His previous positions have included Senior Vice President, Global Wireless Solutions at Corning. After Corning acquired MobileAccess Networks, Mr. Southworth became the company’s COO and CFO. Prior to this he worked as CFO at Lucent Technologies’ Metro Optical Networking Group, and was Corporate Controller for Chromatis Networks, as well as X-Stream Network’s Group Controller. He also was formerly Vice President at Telemus. "I am honored to take on this new role at Contact Solutions to expand upon an exciting product portfolio in the fast growing market of customer engagement," explained Mr. Southworth. “Our team is forging new paths for customer service at a time when it has become more impactful than ever to enterprise bottom lines."
