John Hubinger Appointed to Mobilize.Net Board of Directors
John Hubinger has been appointed to the Mobilize.Net Board of Directors. Bellevue, Washington-based Mobilize.Net offers “modernization technology” for mobile and cloud solutions. The company adapts software applications to .NET, web, mobile, and cloud platforms and is Microsoft's preferred solution for Visual Studio customers. Mr. Hubinger joins the company’s board with a view to guiding its move to put “business applications software into the world of mobile devices connected to the cloud”.
Described by some as a “serial entrepreneur”, Mr. Hubinger has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from UC Berkeley and has established a number of enterprise software start-ups. These include Forte Software, which Sun Microsystems acquired in 1999, and AmberPoint, which Oracle acquired in 2010. An industry veteran, his previous positions have included the President and CEO of Emotive-Enterprise Software Mobile Development cloud platform, CEO and co-founder of Virtus Genetics, Vice President of Software Development at Oracle, and President, CEO and co-founder of AmberPoint.
