Integrated Cloud Solutions Provider Fusion Wins $1.5 Million Contract
Integrated cloud solutions provider Fusion has announced winning a new contract to the value of $1.5 million. The company, which has headquarters in New York, USA, caters to businesses of a range of sizes offering an “advanced, proprietary cloud service platform” that integrates a number of communications, cloud connectivity, and cloud computing solutions. It prides itself on offering cloud solutions that lower customers' costs and offer “new levels of security, flexibility, scalability, and speed of deployment”. Fusion’s new contract was awarded by a “leading health insurance organization” to support its business continuity and growth requirements. The health insurance organization selected Fusion to support its disaster recovery plan and infrastructure expansion. It required a solution that would meet the regulatory requirements it works under, protect patient information security, ensure business continuity, and optimize network efficiencies and reduce costs. Fusion was chosen based on an evaluation of a number of service providers. The company’s customized healthcare industry solutions and industry-specific solutions were key to it winning the contract. Fusion will also provide the insurer with a cloud-based voice solution that will “enable business continuity for the company's voice requirements”. "Fusion fully understands the demanding challenges faced by healthcare institutions, payers as well as providers, who must anticipate as well as keep pace with change in a period of rapid expansion and increasing regulatory requirements," explained the President of Business Services at Fusion, Russell P. Markman. "We are gratified that this leading healthcare insurer finds Fusion's strategy of designing specialized solutions for key vertical markets compelling, and has demonstrated its confidence in our integrated suite of compliant cloud solutions for the healthcare industry."
