Infrastructure-as-a-Service Cloud Startup SimplerCloud Offers New Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Service
Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud startup SimplerCloud is offering a new cost-effective Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) service. The Singapore-based company’s new service offers “advanced security and networking features”. The service allows hosted private clouds to be set up instantly and offers features that include load balancing and VPNs alongside network-based firewalls. The service starts at 160 Singapore Dollars (US $127) per month. SimplerCloud's service allows users to establish a hybrid cloud quickly and “self-provision computing resources” that are separated from other virtual machines in its network. Available without contracts, the service allows users to “scale upward without data loss” and offers high security levels through the deployment of unique security policies. "Our Virtual Private Cloud offers corporate users safer, more secure and flexible options for migration planning, and complex application and Internet services without sacrificing the affordability and scalability that they expect from a true cloud hosting platform," explained the CEO of SimplerCloud, Indra Pramana.
