Infrastructure Performance Management Tools Provider Virtual Instruments Offers Managed Service
Infrastructure performance management tools provider Virtual Instruments is offering a new managed service for the Australian market. The company, which provides “physical, virtual and cloud computing environments”, will offer a virtual “Instruments as a Service” (IaaS) solution which mirrors the VirtualWisdom platform. The service will enable Virtual Instruments’ customers to monitor end-to-end IT infrastructure performance and avoid risks without substantial investment costs. IaaS has seen rapid adoption in Australia and New Zealand alongside other cloud-based services. Virtual Instruments’ solution allows users to generate real-time reports on a range of areas, including infrastructure performance. As cloud-based environments are more utilized, users require assurances their infrastructures can cope with additional workloads. Virtual Instruments’ VIaaS generates in excess of 320 metrics that give an overview of the performance of end-to-end systems. "Australia has a great track record of breaking new ground and being early adopters of innovative technology-based service delivery models, and we can't think of a better place to introduce Virtual Instruments as a Service," explained Virtual Instruments’ Vice President of Services, Bo Barker. "Our solution eliminates the endless headaches of IT outages and performance issues that affect customers and service providers every day. By partnering with managed service and cloud providers we look forward to delivering significantly improved service level agreements - at a lower total cost for all." Established in June 2008 and with headquarters in San Jose, California, USA, Virtual Instruments is listed on Forbes Magazine’s “America's Most Promising Companies” list. The company has a presence in the United States, EMEA and Asia Pacific. Do you know of any other companies offering IaaS solutions? Let us know the details. Add your comments below. Comment News
