Hosting Solutions Provider Atlantic.Net Now Able to Serve Customers in the European Union
Hosting solutions provider Atlantic.Net is now able to serve customers in the European Union. Established in 1994, the company offers a range of services including cloud servers, colocation, dedicated servers and VPS services. The company specializes in offering HIPAA-compliant hosting through its SSAE 16 (SOC 1) TYPE II data center infrastructure.
The company has now also achieved 'Safe Harbor Certification'. This certification, awarded by the government in the United States, applies to an agreement between the United States Department of Commerce and the European Union (EU) which regulates how providers in the United States manage personal data which belongs to EU citizens. Having achieved the standard, Atlantic.Net now complies with European Union data management standards.
