Enterprise Private Cloud Provider Nebula Launches New Nebula Cosmos Version
Enterprise private cloud provider Nebula has launched a new version (version 1.2) of its Nebula Cosmos system software. Version 1.2 will be available in the coming months and offers enhancements that facilitate secure private cloud deployment. Other enhancements include the integration of private cloud features with Microsoft Active Directory to make private cloud access management easier. Nebula specializes in establishing scalable private cloud computing infrastructures for businesses using “racks of industry-standard servers”. The company’s Nebula Cosmos version 1.2 integrates with a company’s current Active Directory database to provide firewall protected single sign-on. The solution’s private cloud infrastructure refers to the Active Directory database to authenticate users and manage Nebula Private Cloud access. This facilitates identification of cloud users and administrators. The solution also speeds up cloud resource access. Future Nebula Cosmos enhancements will include integration with resources such as storage and networking to establish “a fully unified enterprise cloud landscape” with additional private cloud features. “Providing seamless integration with existing enterprise identity is critical to accelerate deployment and access to the private cloud,” explained Nebula’s Vice President of Product Management, said Tina Nolte. “And to create a complete turnkey enterprise experience, the private cloud also needs to seamlessly work with existing storage and network infrastructures.” Do you know of any other companies upgrading offerings?
