Dan Sterling Joins Technology Cloud Technology Solutions Provider Green Cloud Technologies as President
 Dan Sterling has joined Greenville, South Carolina-based Cloud technology solutions provider Green Cloud Technologies as President. His new position will include overseeing Green Cloud's sales, marketing and field support operations. His brief will also include promoting Green Cloud's disaster recovery solution and developing the company's channel partner network.
Mr. Sterling brings considerable experience to his new position. In 2009 he was Channel Partners magazine's "Channel Executive of the Year" and "Channel Executive of the Year Finalist" in 2010 and 2011. In 2012 he was names United Way Mentor of the Year for his mentoring work in Greenville County.
Mr. Sterling's last position before joining Green Cloud was at Windstream, formerly known as NuVox Communications, where he was vice president of channel sales and channel chief. in his new position he will work alongside former NuVox Communications colleagues, including the company's executive vice president of sales and marketing, Charles Houser.
Mr. Sterling's appointment comes at period of expansion for Green Cloud Technologies, with last quarter sales up 70% over the previous quarter. The company has opened offices in Charleston, South Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, and Tampa, Florida in the last 6 months. Additionally, they have added 17 executive management and support personnel positions to their staff.
