Craig Sowell Joins Datapipe as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing

Craig Sowell has joined Datapipe as the company’s Senior Vice President of Global Marketing. Datapipe offers a range of managed services which include private and public cloud offerings, managed AWS, HIPAA and PCI compliance services, and disaster recovery and migration options. The company has a presence in the United States, Iceland, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, China and Singapore. Mr. Sowell joins the company during a period of significant growth in its cloud activity.

In his new position Mr. Sowell’s responsibilities will include maintaining Datapipe’s brand and ensuring existing and potential customers consider the company as they adopt the cloud or extend existing cloud solutions. His role will include marketing Datapipe’s products and services to a global audience by focusing on the company’s cloud and managed IT service expertise, especially its Managed Cloud for Amazon Web Services and the company’s Stratosphere private cloud.

With 15 years in the industry, Mr. Sowell brings significant experience to his new role. His previous position saw him head IBM’s brand management and marketing for cloud solutions. He gained a BA from Skidmore College and a Masters in Public Administration and Policy from Nelson A. Rockefeller University.
