Cloud Services Provider SherWeb Helps Businesses Move from Exchange 2003 Server
Cloud services provider SherWeb is providing options that will help businesses move from Exchange 2003 Server – a Microsoft calendaring, email server and contact manager that the corporation will cease to support post April 8, 2014. SherWeb, Microsoft's World Hosting Partner of the Year in 2013, is offering a solution that will allow Exchange 2003 Server users to migrate to Exchange 2013. The cessation of support for Exchange 2003 Server means that Microsoft will no longer offer fixes or patches for the solution, which is potentially disastrous for businesses - continuing with unpatched software leaves data open to a range of threats. SherWeb’s offer lasts until April 30, 2014, and includes free Outlook 2013 licenses. Outlook 2003 licenses would allow users to maintain Exchange 2010 but would not be compatible with Exchange 2013. Established in 1998, SherWeb has headquarters in Quebec, Canada. The company offers a range of services including SharePoint, Lync, and Dynamics CRM alongside Microsoft Exchange. It has announced it will migrate existing customers free of charge using its Microsoft-certified technical support team. “In the last few months we have seen a surge of businesses still running Exchange 2003 on-premise scrambling to find an alternative. Lately, we've been hearing daily from businesses that do not ever again want to be in a position of losing support due to outdated software,” says Rima Hatoum, SherWeb's Hosted Exchange Product Manager. “More than just a software, our enterprise-grade communication and collaboration solution offers perpetual benefits, from the most current versions of Exchange, to constant support and access to value-added services.” Do you know of any other companies offering transition away from Exchange 2003 Server?
