Cloud services platform provider Ormuco has chosen MigSolv as its data center partner in the United Kingdom. Ormuco, which has headquarters in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, offers a range of services to “service providers, ISVs and businesses” worldwide. A HP Helion Network charter member, Ormuco maintains a global network of cloud services which include nodes in Canada, the United States, and the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Ormuco’s partnership with MigSolv will allow the company to “deliver high quality, service based colocation services to the large enterprises”.

MigSolv, which has headquarters and a data center in Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom, offers “ultra-secure and environmentally efficient” data center services, that include “high quality low cost totally flexible” collocation. Its data center is “carrier neutral” and has access to over 200 carriers. It is supported by generators and fuel to ensure 24/7 availability and offers low latency connectivity options ranging from direct Internet access, point-to-point connectivity, MPLS, satellite, or “any other solution that (its customers) may need”.

“Ormuco selected MigSolv as their Norwich based data centre offers a high quality facility with the levels of resilience and redundancy that Ormuco requires,” explained Ormuco’s CEO, Orlando Bayter. “Collaboration in the IT world is the only way forward and means Ormuco can now offer service based colocation services as well as Connected Cloud services.”

“We are delighted to welcome Ormuco and to provide our data centre facility to one of today’s leading cloud providers, where high quality and security is paramount,” added MigSolv’s CEO, Alex Rabbetts. “This contract, with an initial value of £7 million ($10.8 million), underlines our Norwich facility as the alternative option for those customers seeking to minimize their risk when choosing a colocation partner.”
