Cloud hosting provider ServerPoint.com has announced the availability to all clients of ColossusCloud in Virginia, USA. ServerPoint.com, a Las Vegas, Nevada-based corporation, caters to a broad customer base which includes companies of all sizes. Alongside cloud hosting services, the company offers a range of services including Linux and Windows web hosting options such as dedicated servers and cloud VPS.
ColossusCloud is a virtualization platform which enables users to quickly establish Linux and Windows virtual machines in a number of areas, including Las Vegas, Nevada - favored by customers providing services to United States' west coast and to Asia. Catering the United States' east coast with speedy access to all major Internet peering points, ColossusCloud's third generation cloud platform is now also located in "data center valley" in Ashburn, Virginia.
ServerPoint's new location is powered by the company's own network and incorporates 10gigabit uplinks via Cogent and Zayo. The new location also offers multiple routers and the company's own IP space. ColossusCloud offers fully redundant hypervisors with Xeon E5 CPUs, up to 256GBs of RAM and RAID10 storage devices alongside intra LAN private options.
