Cloud Hosting Provider LayerOnline Offers Free SSL, CDN and S3 Website Backup
Cloud hosting provider LayerOnline is offering its customers free SSL and CDN alongside free S3 Website Backup for one year. Founded in 2008 LayerOnline has headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The company caters to customers in around 200 countries with a wide range of services that extend to SSD Hosting, cloud hosting, and WordPress hosting alongside DDOS protection services and domain name registration. The company has formed partnerships to facilitate its latest service enhancements.
LayerOnline’s new partners include San Francisco-based CloudFlare, who will offer Global SSL, AnyCast DNS and CDN on behalf of the company. CloudFlare specializes in CDN with DDOS protection and a number of other tools that protect against cyberattacks. LayerOnline has also partnered with Amazon to enable customer to benefit from its AWS S3 cloud backup solution. S3 offers “triple replication” and the “strongest AES256 encryption in transit and at rest”. The service maintains copies of websites and allows restorations of versions stored up to a year ago. Again, this service is free for LayerOnline’s hosting customers.
