Business Intelligence Company D&B Acquires Cloud-based Business Intelligence Software Provider Indicee
Business intelligence company Dun & Bradstreet Corporation (D&B) has acquired cloud-based business intelligence software provider Indicee. Indicee, which specializes in cloud-based analytics and business intelligence (BI) solutions, becomes D&B’s second acquisition in the last 3 weeks – the company purchased the social data elements Fliptop recently. The latest move underscores the company’s strategy to cater to its customers by providing analytics through a range of “modern channels”. Financial aspects of the deal have not been released, but it was announced Indicee employees based in Vancouver will be absorbed by D&B and brought into its new “Cloud Innovation Center”, which will be spearheaded by Mark Cunningham – Indicee’s founder and Chief Executive Officer. "Modernizing delivery is a core component of our strategy, and this acquisition is at the heart of it," said Bob Carrigan, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director, D&B. "We are uniquely positioned to help new and existing customers navigate an increasingly data-driven world, and this is a giant step forward in our commitment to make it easier to access our world-class data, analytics and insight. Indicee's technology and talent are truly unmatched in the marketplace and we look forward to bringing this team of world-class innovators on board."
