Bruce Chatterley to Replace Jack Finlayson as Layered Technologies CEO
Bruce Chatterley is to replace Jack Finlayson as Layered Technologies CEO. Mr. Finlayson, who is currently the company's Chairman and CEO, will retire from both positions after six years at the helm. During this time he has been in charge of the company's transition from a dedicated hosting provider to one the leading managed hosting solutions and cloud solutions providers. He will remain with the company acting as Bruce Chatterley's Senior Advisor. Layered Technologies provides cloud and PCI-, HIPAA- and FISMA-compliant hosting services alongside managed hosting and cloud computing services. Mr. Finlayson was responsible for a number of acquisitions which brought key personnel and expertise to the company's team and increased its potential to provide managed services to a range of customers, including federal agencies. Mr. Chatterley is an industry veteran who brings substantial experience (25 years) to his new position. He most recently worked with Broadvox where he was President and CEO. His previous positions included President of Business Markets at Megapath, Inc. where he guided the company through a merger with Covad and Speakeasy. He was also President and CEO of Speakeasy prior to its 2007 sale to Best Buy, Inc. "Layered Tech is extremely well-positioned in an exciting and growing market. I am impressed with the team and the quality of service offerings the company is able to deliver to its customers," explained Mr. Chatterley. "I am honored to have the opportunity to lead this organization, and I look forward to working with Layered Tech's talented professionals to drive the next phase of the company's growth."
