Broadband Communications Services Provider Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc. Launches Cloud Services in Sacramento and Dallas

Broadband communications services provider Consolidated Communications Holdings, Inc. (CCI) has launched business cloud services in the metropolitan areas of Sacramento, California and Dallas, Texas, USA. The company, which is listed on NASDAQ (CNSL), serves 11 US states.

Operating for “more than a century”, CCI is a Cisco Gold Partner with a Master Cloud Builder Specialization that specializes in “innovative, reliable, high-quality products and services over an expanded fiber optic network”. These services include internet, digital TV, data, phone, and managed and cloud services. Its cloud services include Cloud Wifi, Cloud Compute, Data Protection and “Unified Communications”.

Unified Communications is a service that “gives businesses of any size access to the latest communication technologies while improving efficiency and productivity”. It replaces a company’s PBX and data network with a “centrally managed communications solution that supports phones, voicemail, email, video, instant messaging and mobility”. CCI’s other services also offer companies a range of benefits.

Cloud Wifi is a scalable offering that allows companies to “take full advantage of wireless technologies and applications without in-house wireless expertise”. Its Cloud Compute offering allows businesses to leverage secure dedicated resources on an as need basis with scalable hosting platforms, while its Data Protection service provides security for companies whose employees bring their own mobile devices to work.
